IYA BACLAGAN

Iya (ee-ya) Baclagan is a Filipino-American Actress, Dancer, and Producer based in Los Angeles. She was born in the Philippines and moved to America in 2009 and is fluent in both English and Tagalog. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Theatre, with a focus on Acting and Directing at California State University Northridge in 2019.

You can also find her as a Producer and Talent at SELF CTRL COLLECTIVE, formed by her and her friends to have creative freedom over the way they tell their stories. Iya also served as the Vice President of Digital Media of FilAm Creative, a nonprofit organization that empowers and educates the representation of people of color in media.

In her spare time, Iya enjoys cooking, experimenting with make up, and taking photos!
